Hey Ya'll

Guess I'll make a quick post just to say hi and follow up on a couple of items. Like Michelle said, I spend a lot of time travelling for my job, mostly to the DC area, but occasionally other parts of the country (Silicon Valley, Boston, Omaha) as well. So, if you're working in the Gov't or defense industry, you never know when we might meet again.

I ran into some of the following folks over the past few years:
  • Kris Jones (Tucker) is married and now lives in Central Florida. I ran into her back in '90 when I went to NCO Academy at Keesler and again when I attended BCOT in '93.
  • John Glomski. I saw him when I was at Lowry in '94 and heard later that he was a Chief at Fairchild. If anyone wants to try to get in contact with him, please let me know and I'll see if any of my old contacts at Buckley AFB know how to reach him.
  • Mitch Massey (used to run the Comm Ctr @ Spang) took over the shop I worked at in the Pentagon shortly before I moved on to a new job in '90. I ran into him occasionally for a year or so before I left the Pentagon for Bolling AFB. He was a Chief at the time.
  • Burt Minor tells me that Ron Young is a retired chief living in Alabama -- I think somewhere near Montgomery.
Anyway, great to hear where everyone is nowadays. One question that keeps cropping up is: "Whatever happened to the "B.S. Book??" Anyone have any ideas? Could it be:
  • Unceremoniously burned by some uptight NCOIC or OIC after all of us left?
  • In an evidence locker in the JAG's office at Spang?
  • Being held by someone who hopes to use it for blackmail fodder in the event any of us ever decide to run for public office?
  • Or (most likely), still in the bottom of a filing cabinet somewhere in the Data Center at Spang?
Discuss, and enjoy!
